Amy Slaton of the reality TV show "1000-Lb. Sisters," was recently arrested on charges of drug possession and child endangerment. The arrest took place at a zoo in Alamo, Tennessee, following an incident where a guest was reportedly bitten by a camel.

According to a statement released by the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, police were called to the scene after receiving a report about the camel bite. When officers arrived, they detected suspicious odors coming from a vehicle, leading to the arrest of Slaton and another individual, Brian Scott Lovvorn.

Slaton, 36, was charged with illegal possession of Schedule I and Schedule VI substances, as well as two counts of child endangerment. Lovvorn faced the same charges, and both were subsequently booked into the Crockett County Jail.
The sheriff’s department shared this information via a Facebook post, which also included mugshots of Slaton and Lovvorn. The department emphasized that the charges are merely accusations and that both defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

As of now, Slaton has not made any public statements regarding her arrest. This incident marks a significant moment in Slaton’s life, following her recent divorce from her ex-husband, Michael Halterman.
