Get ready for a front-row seat to the Baldwin household! Actor Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin are bringing their bustling family life to the small screen with their upcoming reality show, "The Baldwins," planning to air on TLC in 2025.
Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin are set to give fans an inside look at their hectic household in an upcoming reality series titled The Baldwins.
On Tuesday, June 4, the 66-year-old 30 Rock actor and his yoga instructor wife announced their new show for TLC via an Instagram video. In the clip, Alec and Hilaria introduced themselves and joked about their large family of seven children.
The announcement, made on the couple's Instagram page, was a lighthearted affair. They joked about their ever-expanding family, which includes seven children under the age of 10: Carmen (10), Rafael (8), Leonardo (7), Romeo (6), Eduardo and Lucia (both 3), and the youngest, Ilaria (1). Alec also shares a daughter, Ireland (28), from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.

“We have an announcement to make,” teased the 40-year-old mother. Alec, looking alarmed, interjected: “Good God, no.” Hilaria quickly clarified that it wasn’t another pregnancy announcement, saying: “No, definitely not! We’re done having kids.”
The video then shifted to scenes of their children playing around the house, with Alec stating: “We’re inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs – the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy.”
“Home is the place we love to be most,” he added.
The Instagram video also featured the couple trying to manage their seven kids, taking photos on a couch, and shouting together: “We are the Baldwins!”
“And we’re coming to TLC!” added the Beetlejuice actor, humorously concluding with: “God help you all!”
In the caption, Alec revealed that the series would premiere on the network in 2025. According to Variety, The Baldwins will “invite viewers into the home” of Alec and Hilaria, where they live with their seven children: Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo, MarÃa, and Ilaria.
“For the first time, they’re opening up their family lives and bringing everyone in to join in the nonstop love, laughter and drama,” TLC said.

While the exact release date within 2025 remains under wraps, fans can expect a show focused on the joys and challenges of raising a large family. The announcement video itself offered a glimpse of the show's potential tone, hinting at a blend of heartwarming moments and comedic situations that inevitably arise when juggling seven kids.
However, the buzz surrounding "The Baldwins" isn't purely about the cuteness. Alec Baldwin faces an upcoming involuntary manslaughter trial related to the 2021 shooting on the set of the movie "Rust," which tragically took the life of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. This ongoing legal battle casts a shadow over the reality show, leaving some viewers to wonder how, or if, it will be addressed.
There's also the matter of Hilaria Baldwin's background. Controversy has surrounded her for claiming Spanish heritage despite being born in the United States. This has led to questions about how the show will handle her cultural identity, if at all.
Despite the questions, there's a definite interest in seeing how the Baldwins go through their reality TV journey. Some fans are eager for a glimpse into the lives of this high-profile couple, while others are curious about how they'll portray themselves amidst ongoing controversies.

So, will "The Baldwins" be a heartwarming family portrait or a drama-filled spectacle? Only time (and TLC) will tell. But one thing's for sure: with seven kids and a lot of ground to cover, this reality show promises to be anything but boring.
While many fans expressed excitement about the new reality show, some Instagram users noticed the absence of Hilaria’s former Spanish accent.
“Where did her accent go? And now she has like a little girl voice. I’m so confused,” one person questioned, noting Hilaria’s seemingly American accent in the video.
“If she pretends to be Hispanic, I’m boycotting,” another user commented, while someone else added: “You mean Hillary... right?”
In 2020, Hilaria faced backlash for allegedly pretending to be from Spain. Numerous internet users shared videos showing her struggling to recall the English word for cucumber, and pointed out instances where she claimed to be born in Spain during interviews. “You have to admire Hilaria Baldwin’s commitment to her decade-long grift where she impersonates a Spanish person,” one person tweeted.

She later clarified in a New York Times article that her real name is Hillary Hayward-Thomas and that she was born in Boston. She explained that she frequently traveled between her home in Massachusetts and Spain, where many of her family members live.
In February 2021, she addressed the controversy regarding her heritage and apologized for not being “more clear” about her background.
The reality TV show announcement follows a New Mexico judge’s decision to reject Alec’s request to dismiss the Rust fatal shooting case against him. On May 24, Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer upheld the involuntary manslaughter case connected to the 2021 death of the film’s cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins. Despite accusations of misconduct by Baldwin’s lawyers, the actor’s trial is scheduled for July.

The fatal incident occurred in October 2021 when Alec, who was both lead actor and co-producer of Rust, pointed a prop gun at Hutchins during a rehearsal. The gun discharged a real bullet, killing her and injuring director Joel Souza.
Although Baldwin was initially cleared of involuntary manslaughter charges, prosecutors renewed these charges in January citing new evidence. The actor has pleaded not guilty.
In March, Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter over Hutchins’ death and received the maximum prison sentence of 18 months.
Baldwin maintains his innocence, asserting that he pulled back the hammer – but not the trigger – and the gun fired.
