Just before the city's Haute Couture shows, celebrities and guests who paid thousands of dollars for a seat gathered in the plaza to watch a runway show. The show highlighted the 100 years between the 1924 Paris Olympics and today.
Different sports categories were matched with different time periods. Dancers performed routines from 1960s fencing and 1970s gymnastics while models walked the runway in outfits that matched these eras.
This wasn't just a runway filled with leggings and track shorts. One of the most surprising outfits was worn by Katy Perry. She wore a vintage Noir Kei Ninomiya cut-out gown for the part about 1980s martial arts.

Photos of the singer's dress turn heads, but seeing Katy Perry walking down the runway at Place Vendôme in sync with live drumming truly captures the essence of the garment.
Vogue described it as a “geometric naked dress.”
