Vivienne Jolie-Pitt the 15-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, went on stage with her mom when their show won Best Musical at the 77th Tony Awards.

Vivienne is now a Tony Award winner!
She joined the team of “The Outsiders” on stage on Sunday, June 16, to celebrate their win. Angelina, who is 49, and Vivienne both wore dark teal outfits that night. Angelina looked amazing in a dress by Atelier Versace, and Vivienne wore a suit with a bowtie. The event was at the David H. Koch Theater in New York City.

Before this, Angelina talked to Deadline about working with Vivienne on the play. On June 10, she said in an interview, “My daughter Viv loves theater.” She likes all kinds of theater but has a special place in her heart for “The Outsiders.”
She saw it at La Jolla around five times and talked to me about it. I had read the book and seen the movie a long time ago.
“The Outsiders” is a story from a book written in 1967 and made into a movie in 1983. It’s about a boy named Ponyboy Curtis in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He’s caught in the middle of a fight between two gangs called the Socs and Greasers because they come from different social classes.
Talking to Deadline about how the story affected Vivienne, Angelina said working with her daughter was special.
“It was a very different experience of understanding, of how this is having a significant effect on her as a young person right now, and she’s communicating something to me, and that is the power of this material, which was in really good shape even by then,” she shared.

Angelina got to see how everyone worked hard for a year to make the play what it is now, and Vivienne was part of it all along. Besides Vivienne, Angelina also has kids named Shiloh, Zahara, Maddox, Pax, and Knox with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
Vivienne and Angelina’s win at the Tony Awards happened while there seemed to be some trouble in their family. Most of the Jolie-Pitt children decided not to use their father’s last name anymore. Shiloh, who is 18, asked to take “Pitt” out of her name last month.
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has asked to remove her dad’s last name from hers. Reports say that Shiloh made this request on her 18th birthday, Monday, May 27. TMZ found out about this on Thursday, May 30.

Before Shiloh, reports said that Vivienne, who is 15, also didn’t use “Pitt” in a playbill for “The Outsiders.” Vivienne worked with her mom to produce this musical as a production assistant.
Zahara, who is 19, also stopped using her dad’s last name in public. In November 2023, she called herself Zahara Marley Jolie at a sorority event at Spelman College.
TMZ says that Maddox uses “Jolie” as his last name too. But except for Shiloh, none of the other kids have legally taken “Pitt” out of their names yet. These changes in names are happening while Angelina and Brad’s divorce is still not settled. They separated in 2016.

Angelina said that Brad was abusive toward her during an altercation on a plane that year. She talked about this in October 2022. Brad strongly denied what Angelina said. A person speaking for Brad told CNN then, “Brad has accepted responsibility for what he did but will not for things he didn’t do. These new allegations are completely untrue.”
Earlier this year, Angelina said that Brad was abusive before the plane event in 2016 too. Brad didn’t say anything publicly about these new accusations from his ex-wife.
