Earlier this week, 80-year-old Oscar winner Robert De Niro delivered a speech outside Donald Trump’s trial in Manhattan, encountering supporters of the 77-year-old businessman.

When a protestor called him “washed up,” De Niro responded with “Fk you,” as reported by NBC News. During his May 28 press conference, De Niro criticized Trump supporters for having “bought into his bullst” during the 2016 campaign.
He referenced the September 11, 2001 attacks, expressing his love for New York City and accusing Trump of wanting to destroy the city, the country, and potentially the world.
Recalling Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, De Niro called him a “buffoon” and noted that many thought the former host of The Apprentice would “never” become president.
De Niro warned that if Trump returns to the White House, it would mean the end of many freedoms and fair elections. He said, “If Trump returns to the White House, you can kiss these freedoms ‘goodbye’ that we all take for granted. And elections — forget about it. That’s over; that’s done. If he gets in, I can tell you right now, he will never leave.”

With Trump, we have a second chance, and no one is laughing now.”
Shortly after De Niro’s speech, Trump responded on Truth Social, calling De Niro a “wacko.”

Trump wrote, “I never knew how small, both mentally and physically, Wacko Former Actor Robert De Niro was. Today, De Niro, who suffers from an incurable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, commonly known in the medical community as TDS, was met, outside the Courthouse, with a force far greater than the Radical Left – MAGA.”
